What is "Ladies Of Harley"?

Ladies of Harley (LOH) is the group of female Harley Davidson enthusiasts promoting activities and adventures from within a local HOG chapter.

Who is LOH?
LOH is any lady that belongs to HOG® and has a full, lifetime or associate membership and wishes to participate in the female forum. The members can be either driver or passenger as long as they are willing to participate a little or a lot.  The members of LOH run their own meetings and sponsor activities that both ladies and men can participate in.

Why LOH?
LOH promotes participation by ladies in the world of Harley Davidson. Some sport activities can become dominated by men, I.e., basketball, football, skiing, mountain climbing, track. Since HOG® is all about just having family fun, the LOH group was formed to provide an avenue for the ladies. There seem to be a lot of misconceptions about LOH.   Ladies of Harley is a program sponsored by the Harley Owners Group to support women motorcycle enthusiasts. Notice I did not say Riders.  It does not matter whether you are a passenger or ride your own, you can be a part of LOH! Ladies of Harley was established to encourage women to become more active in H.O.G. And in their local chapters.

How to join LOH?

You must first be a member of the National HOG®, then you can join your local chapter. You can be either a full or associate member. Ladies of Harley membership also allows you to participate in all LOH activities at various HOG® Rallies and events. There is no additional fee to be a Ladies of Harley member. Ladies of Harley offers members a special embroidered patch and a pin during the first year of membership. Each renewal year, LOH members will receive an LOH pin indicating the year of membership.

What's an "LOH Sponsored" event?
These are Manatee Florida LOH ladies-sponsored  rides. These rides are planned for ladies and guest (husband or significant other) by ladies and led by ladies.  Some  sponsored rides are  geared toward ladies' activities in mind.  Men are welcome to participate if they choose. Check the events calendar for LOH sponsored rides!

L.O.H. Is where lasting friendships are made. Where laughter is heard. Where memories are made. It's where people like you come together to share their common interest in Harley-Davidson motorcycles. We look forward to meeting you and riding together.

Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. chapter members. There are three categories of activities, all activities are identified as follows:

Closed events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member.

Member events are events that are open only to H.O.G. members.

Open events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members, national H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.
